I finally got around to trying a dehydrator-cracker recipe my friend Renee and her husband shared on their family adventure blog. I don’t know why I put it off, it ended up being so easy to make!

I made them in my Excalibur dehydrator, on the teflex sheets.

I seasoned mine with garlic and onion powder, and a bit of whatever dried herbs I had on hand, maybe basil and oregano.They are ahhmazing with a little raw cheddar cheese!

Paired up with some veggies and it’s a satisfying and savory meal. I think next time I will grind more of the flax seeds for a smoother texture (I ground about half of them in this batch). Now that I have seen how easy they are to make, this will be a standby for sure! (Think: bread substitute). 🙂
