Tonight Rich and I got to speak briefly with Augenson. As the pastor did not stay close by to translate (he was giving a tour to some visiting adopting families from the US) the conversation was not very fluid. He said “good morning”, bien, and oui. LOL! But it was so sweet to hear his voice.
One visiting parent took the phone a moment, and said to me “Spring I am standing here right next to your son! He is so beautiful! We are in the bathroom on our tour of the place.” LOL!
THEN, what I didnt’ realize was she took a picture of him while talking to us, and posted it to facebook!!!! THANK YOU GOD for Facebook!!! It just made it even more amazing, to immediately see the pic of him from our chat on the phone.
We asked the pastor to ask him, what he would like for a gift when Rich comes. He said “cars.” Boys are the same the world over! LOL!
Tracked our dossier online tonight, and apparently it has ALREADY ARRIVED IN HAITI!! (I shipped it yesterday after lunch!) Hopefully Pastor Rigaud will have internet tonight to get my message that it is there, so he can get it right in to the lawyer’s and get it filed!!
Suddenly, I am not so exhausted from running on four hours of sleep! LOL!
