The Village

crowd

I mentioned in my post Sounding the Trumpet, that it would take a village to accomplish this mission God has called us to.

So, today I started journalling the people who have either given time, money or amazing ideas and encouragement to this process of adopting Augeson and Wisly.  I am calling it “The Village.”  The list is already over 30 people long, and is growing almost hourly at times! (And that is not including the Coalition of Hope, which now boasts nearly 550 members!)

I am going to journal each person, so that our boys can see the way God moved mountains, and a village of people, to give them a chance for a home.

Thank you so much, all of you who have stepped up in a variety of ways to help make this happen.  If your heart has been touched by this story, you can  have a very real part in it.  You can make a difference, both locally and nationally.

If you’d like to know how, you can email me:

I stumbled across this site researching HR 4603 trying to figure out how I can help get movement on the bill. After reading more, however, I believe we are adopting from the same orphanage (Kingdom of Kids run by Rev Jean Rigaud) My wife and oldest daughter were visiting our son, Roody, at this orphanage the past 5 days with Laurae Richards (she runs Servants For Haiti) at Kingdom of Kids. Having to leave Roody behind was absolutely heart breaking for them.

We adopted our youngest son, Ilophene, from Haiti a few years ago and it took 3 painstaking years before he came home. We have to figure out a way to get these kids out of there sooner then that. If you have contact Infomration or suggestions on what I can do to help get more interest on this bill, please let me know.

    Hello Todd!
Yes the one and the same orphanage! Barbara who was in the group your wife traveled with took pictures of our boys for us while she was there. She actually got one of Augenson while we were on the phone with him! So awesome!

We had some interesting info come in tonight- but perhaps I will just forward you the email I received, as it is a bit long! :)
As far as the bill goes, if you are on Facebook, you can visit: http://www.facebook.com/?sk=2361831622#!/group.php?gid=329816108438. It is a FB group we started to drum of a group of people who would call congress(wo)men and ask them to support the bill. We can chat more via email if you’d like!
